The process made easy by dealing with a Kiwi’s

  1. Contact me with your interest and describe the years, makes, and models that you are interested in. If you are unsure I can send you through  some links to some sites that you can browse on and get a feel for what is out there.
  2. Once you have a clear idea of what you are looking for Iwill find some cars that interest you and send you photos and brief descriptions.
  3. With it narrowed down the next step is to make contact with the seller and arrange a viewing and inspection time.
  4. I will then drive and look at the car, doing an inspection and taking photos
  5. I then provide you with the full report and photos. You then you will make a decision on whether you would like to purchase the vehicle.
  6. I will then purchase of the vehicle obtaining the Title and bill of sale made out in your name or the name of the person the car will be imported under.IMG_1426
  7. I will send the Title and bill of sale direct to Kiwi shipping via U.S. postal tracked mail.
  8. The car is then transported to Kiwi Shipping located in Compton, CA via a reliable car transporter and will be fully insured and trackable.IMG_4123
  9. It is then received and processed. On arrival your car will be inspected and have a full departure report and photo’s taken and sent to you directly. Once Kiwi Shipping has done the report and you are satisfied with their inspection, you will then have direct contact with Kiwi Shipping and DansFinds is no longer your main point of contact.  Our process is finished by this point.  (Craig doing Arrival inspection)   IMG_5269
  10. The car will take 16- 25 days to land in NZ depending on the ship’s schedule. You will have the option of 2 ports: Christchurch or Auckland. Custom made reusable steel racks are used by kiwi shipping now especially for heavy american cars and support the cars from the wheels and are bolted in place, gone are the days of racks breaking and cars getting damaged. (Image below are the steel racks Kiwi shipping are now using)
